Zia Systems has developed an Intelligent Remote Monitoring of Assets system that utilizes an advanced Zigbee wireless mesh system. The system uses low-cost radio tags with embedded sensors and web-based software to help automate the process of monitoring assets and/or collecting data in the underground construction industry, corporate retail, and automotive applications.
Zia has secured a $50,000 loan through the ESP commercialization program to build prototypes to support entry into the Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Liner Industry. Zia also has received a private investment of $100,000 from a strategic partner in the CIPP industry. Both investments will finance development of a product prototype to demonstrate the effectiveness of the concept to CIPP industry partners. Zia Systems has attracted interest in its wireless sensor asset locator in the retail and automotive industries, further validating this solution in diverse applications.
