Dayton Hydroelectric LLC is a start-up with the NET Incubator. The company has developed a patented water hydrology turbine technology used to produce alternative electrical energy in regional low-head dam environments. The prototype is of interest to Dayton Power & Light, Duke Energy and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. They are interested in the turbine technology for developing alternative energy portfolios or as an alternative energy source in defense and civilian markets. The product prototype is in Phase I of development for demonstration in the near future to regional utility companies and state energy and defense officials.
